27 Week NICU Grad Ty Turns Two | Charlotte, North Carolina Photographer | NICU Photographer | Krista Gantt Photography

Ty was born at just 27 weeks 4 days, weighing 1 pound 8 ounces. Today, he is celebrating his 2nd birthday! What a long journey - especially for his parents!

I caught up with his mom and she gave me an update:

“Ty loves to run, climb and watch the movie Sing. Puzzles and reading books are his favorite things to play with. He loves eating pizza, seafood, and french fries. As far as milestones, he is still slightly delayed, but he still gets OT, PT, and speech. Walking turned into running, and climbing on everything at the playground. He is 25 pounds, and has no residuals as far as health goes.”
